Disaster Clean up

  • The hardest part about dealing with an unexpected emergency is having to adapt quickly to the new circumstances. After coming to terms with any disastrous situation within the home or business the first step is to take account of all effected areas, and to clear as much of it out as safely and quickly as possible. With our trained and certified technicians we prepare and demo any project with the intent to salvage as much as possible and prepare to rehabilitate the property to what it once was.

  • After the effected areas have been demoed, sanitized and cleared, our main goal is to rehabilitate the area so that whatever remodel or renovations the home owner or property management have in mind, the may proceed to do so in a clean and safe environment.

Asbestos/Lead Abatement

  • Any project involving asbestos or lead should first start with identifying, testing and educating. Calling in A1 Abatement to test and identify exactly where the hazardous material maybe in your home or businesses should be the first step if you're ever looking to remodel or rehab your property. At that point, any/all of our certified and experienced technicians will then inform you on what type of asbestos or lead is in your home/ business, and what steps we can take moving forward.

  • Our main goal is to provide a safe and clean environment to our customers, staff and community. Asbestos/ lead abatement have several protocols when removing it because the fibrous material comes in many different forms (insulation, drywall, vinyl etc). The first step is to apply for any permits needed for removal. We isolate work areas from occupied areas by building containment barriers. Workers enter work area protected by suits, respirators and any other necessary PPE. Asbestos/lead materials are safely removed. Our team will then clean the work area with the proper tools, equipment and solvents certified for asbestos/lead abatement. All this is happening while we run an air clearance test to confirm sufficiency of work, and give the report to the home owner or property management. Then we dismantle the containment barriers and inform the owners that it is now safe to reoccupy the area.

Demolition

  • Interior demolition is the taking apart of interior portions of a structure while preserving the exterior, usually in preparation for a renovation project. This usually includes removal of walls, ceilings, pipes, etc. Each project is tailored specifically to the property owners needs.

  • A selective demolition project involves the removal of specific interior or exterior portions of a building while protecting the remaining structure and nearby structures and areas. and if needed, consulting with an engineer or architect for the safety and liability of all parties involved. And as stated before, every project is tailored to the owners needs.

  • This type of demolition uses specialized mechanical equipment and tools. These include hydraulic excavators equipped with specialized attachments that can break concrete and steel, effectively “chewing” the structure apart. Smaller equipment like skid steers loaders and demolition robots are used for smaller tasks and interior and selective demolition
